DCFSA Contribution Limit Increase for 2026
The Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) has adopted the new Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) contribution limit recently announced by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Effective January 1, 2026, the DCFSA maximum contribution amount per household will increase to $7,500 from the current $5,000. The maximum contribution amount for individuals who are married and filing taxes separately will increase to $3,750 from the current $2,500.
