Save Money on Back to School With FSAFEDS

With Fall just around the corner, now is a great time to make the most of your Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with eligible expenses related to getting your children ready to go back to school.

Eligible Health Care FSA (HCFSA) products and services include:
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and drugs
  • Physical exams
  • Vaccinations
  • Dental and vision exams
  • Ice packs
  • Band-Aids
  • First Aid kits
Eligible Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) expenses include:
  • Preschool
  • Before/After-school care
  • Au pair
  • Daycare

Remember, you can enroll in a DCFSA or change your current DCFSA elections when you experience a qualifying life event (QLE), such as a change in child care or elder care provider, a change in cost, or a change in coverage.
