Do Not Forget About FSAFEDS During Open Season
Open Season enrollment has started, and it is the perfect time to discover all the benefits of the Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS). With FSAFEDS, you can save up to *30% on your eligible health care, prescription, dental, vision and child/adult daycare expenses.
There is less risk of losing funds. You may carry over up to $660 of unused Health Care FSA (HCFSA) or Limited Expense HCFSA (LEX HCFSA) funds into 2026 as long as you re-enroll for 2026.
Enrollment in an FSA is voluntary, and you must actively re-enroll each year; participation does not automatically continue from year to year. You have until midnight Eastern Time on December 8, 2025 to enroll or change elections.
It only takes a few minutes to explore your options, review eligible expenses, and calculate your potential savings.
And don't forget! The IRS increased the DCFSA annual election to $7,500 (per household), beginning in 2026. This means you could save up to $2,250 each year on dependent care expenses like preschool, child or elder daycare, after-school programs, and more!*
Enroll in FSAFEDS during Open Season and save money in 2026!
* Estimated savings are based on an assumed combined federal and state income tax bracket of 30%. Actual savings will depend on your taxable income and tax status.
