Carryover funds can be used for the same eligible dental, and vision expenses that are covered with your Limited Expense Health Care FSA. For a complete listing of eligible expenses, please refer to Eligible Expenses.
The claims processing rules for specific benefits still apply for carryover funds, even if you have a different account year to year.
Example: Let's say you have a Health Care FSA (HCFSA) the 2016 plan year, but you enrolled in a LEX HCFSA for the 2017 plan year. All eligible expenses with 2016 dates of service are eligible for reimbursement from carryover funds.
