Is mileage to and from my medical provider eligible for reimbursement?

Yes, mileage to and from a medical service is an eligible Health Care FSA expense.

For the 2025 benefit period, the mileage rate is 21 cents per mile. The deadline to submit mileage claims from the 2025 benefit period is April 30, 2026.

For the 2024 benefit period, the mileage rate was 21 cents per mile. You may continue to submit mileage claims from the 2024 benefit period until the deadline on April 30, 2025.

Mileage claims require documentation of eligible services or completed Mileage Worksheet (PDF). Use the Mileage Worksheet (PDF) to log miles to and from your doctor, dentist, pharmacy or other medical care provider. When you are ready to submit a claim, sign the bottom of the Mileage Worksheet to certify the expense, and submit the worksheet along with your completed Health Care FSA Claim Form (PDF).
